Pelennor Fields- Return of The King

Pelennor Fields, where Minas Tirith holds its defenses against Mordor, offers another picturesque scenery that resembles a desktop wallpaper. It is the same field where King Theoden delivers his infamous DEATH speech with 6000 riders behind him, charging into battle to fulfill their oaths. Initially, Peter Jackson aimed for 500 horse riders in the scene, but he managed to gather only 250+. Interestingly, a majority of the riders were female.

This location, yet again, left us breathless. Situated on a private farm, Red Carpet Tours enjoys exclusive access to this land due to their close friendship with the farm's owner. After reenacting King Theoden's famous speech multiple times, shields were splintered, and comrades fell in battle. We were treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into how each major scene was filmed, including CGI elements and post-production techniques.

We spent a significant amount of time in the fields, engaging in sword fighting, capturing hundreds of photos, and flying our drones. Despite the challenging winds that made drone operation difficult, I captured what I could and embraced the rest.

My mother, with her childlike spirit, joyfully strolled through the fields as if she were 10 years old again.
